Embracing Devotion: An evening of love and cacao

Sunday, February 19, 2023 4:00p – 6:00p

Open your heart and enhance your exploration of the Divine with our sweet gathering during the month of love.

We will begin with a sacred cacao ceremony. Cacao has been used for thousands of years in sacred settings as a meditation enhancer, heart opener, and spiritual awakener. Brenda Carey, Holistic Healer and Reiki Master, will lead us in ceremony, introducing the tradition, sipping ceremonial grade cacao from Guatemala, intention setting and a blessing.

We’ll continue our exploration with a gentle, guided Bhakti yoga flow with Deb Halliday, beloved teacher in the Samudra School of Yoga. Bhakti is often called the “yoga of devotion”, in which we’re invited to open our heart to bliss through movement, sound and our connection to the Divine, however we define this.

Cost: $40.00

This workshop is accessible for practitioners at all levels. Please plan to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, journal, a mug and spoon for the cacao, and an open heart.

Cacao is chocolate in its purest form. It is a gentle plant medicine that contains vitamins, minerals, and helps to detoxify the body. It is a mild stimulant and contains theobromine, which increases circulation. Potency can be adjusted to your individual needs.
